Why you need a website

The Neilson Reports, New York, NY, January 28, 2008 stated that: 

More than 85 percent of the world's online population has used the Internet to make a purchase - increasing the market for online shopping by 40 percent in the past two years.

There are no statistics that I could find on how many people shop the internet before they go out and actually shop in person.  I am one of those people and I spoke to many people like me in my retail store, as they were looking at my website and calling me at the store with questions before they came in.   These weren't people that were in a different part of the world.  They were local, but they just checked the internet first, before they decided to come in.

Another reason you need a website is that your website can provide business from anywhere, no matter what the weather is doing outside.
On a day where the snow is drifting too high for people to want to come see you,
or the sun is sweltering hot,
the temperature on the internet is just right...

And then there is another undeniable benefit.  You can actually get business from throughout the country or even the world.
I've done it, in a very cautious way, and I have been successful, nationally and internationally.
